Where we are at home
We deliver projects where software must not fail:
- Automotive: Streaming platform for vehicle data with over 20 services and several million events per day, in operation since 2018.
- Energy: Trading system for gas and electricity with exchange and SAP integration, developed further over more than ten years.
- Logistics: Shipping and postage systems for parcel services, route planning and the control of automated high-bay warehouses.
- Raw materials: Material flow control in a potash mine. Result: around 30 % more throughput.
- Aviation & research: Maintenance planning for aircraft and the simulation of sustainable rainforest management.
About bitproquo
Behind bitproquo (from quid pro quo, Latin for something for something) is Dipl.-Math. Ralf Wiedmann, managing director and sole shareholder. He is also the software architect: whoever engages bitproquo gets Ralf Wiedmann in person – from the first conversation to go-live. Consulting and implementation are in one hand: your contact knows your system because he helped shape it himself.
His experience goes back more than 30 years: after training as a mathematical-technical assistant (MaTA), he started as a software developer in 1991 – back then with C, C++ and assembler, today with a focus on Java and Kotlin.
This was followed by studies in mathematics, physics and computer science, graduating with a diploma in mathematics (Dipl.-Math.). His first freelance projects began in 1998 alongside his studies.
From 2002 he worked full-time as a freelancer. After twelve years, he gave this work a professional framework and founded bitproquo GmbH in 2014.
